Partition Magic 7

When I try to resize the NTFS partition Of Win XP occurs
this error:"Access violation at address 0052DC00 in
module 'PMagicNT.exe'.Read of address 00000008."This
error occurs when Partition Magic 7 is for restarting the
system and closing all the other applications.
What can I do?
Please help me!!

try running it from a dos boot disk, not when XP is up and running...
