hi,

i have user on my contact list, which is running msn live. but everytime i
change my display name, it does not update/change the name on their list
under my name. wats rong? how do i fix this?

Hi,

There are options on how the names are displayed in Messenger. They are

a. display name
b. first name and last name
c. email id

So even if you change the display name they need to change their settings to
show the display name so that they can see the changes that you have done to
your id. You cannot make changes to the first/last name and the mail id.
