I just ran my Norton anti-virus system and a Trojan Horse
virus showed up called, "VerifierBug.class" and was
quarantined. (It could not be repaired). What does this
mean? Is there anything I should do? It states its
potential to infect .EXE files as "rarely." How can I
make sure everything is ok with my computer? I was hit
hard with malicious/infected emails 2 weeks ago through
just recently and caught every infected file with Norton
and deleted all of them..........now what? HELP

If your Windows Updates are up to date you have nothing to worry about.
Cumulative Patch for Internet Explorer (822925) dated 8/19/03 fixed the
following:
Impact of vulnerability: Two new vulnerabilities, the most serious of which
could enable an attacker to run arbitrary code on a user’s system if the
user either browsed to a hostile Web site or opened a specially crafted
HTML-based email message.
