Prior to upgrade my pentium 3 800mhz system worked very
well with windows xp. I knew I was in for some problems
when during the clean install of windows XP the set up
program had problems finding different files but after
hitting retry most of the time only once things went
forward. However even after xp was installed it appears
that it still is having problems reading the files at
times. I sometimes had to run a driver installations
more than once just to get them to complete. The upgrade
consisted of a boxed Pentium 4 2.4C ghz and D875PBZ INTEL
mother board with a pair of 512 meg 400 DDR memory stick.
The hard drives are fairly new and worked flawlessly
prior to the upgrade. Often when I try to run a exe file
it will report that it is corrupt.
