Blue Screen/Spontaneous Rebooting

We have Compaq computers (both laptop's and desktops) that
spontaneously reboot. The problem is that it's not
consistent. They can go for two weeks without a problem
and then reboot three times in one day. This appeared to
happen after we installed one of the Window's updates. Is
anyone else having this problem and what if anything have
you done to resolve it.
