removing commands from startup

In Windows XP, how do you permanently remove deleted
programs from the startup string?

Matt, go Start>Run type: regedit. Navigate to
Hkey_Current_User\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre nt Version\Run,
RunOnce Folders. Click on them and in the
rt pane you can see the strings that you want to delete.
Same with Hkey_Local_Machine\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr ent
Version\Run, RunOnce Folders
