error: 0xc0000017 in WinXP
The application failed to initialize properly.
not enough memory. OR:

The microsoft Q315351 says this has to do with "the
Aventail Connect virtual private network (VPN) program is
installed on your computer"

I don't and never have had this on my computer.

This happens when my computer has been on but idle for a
period of time; that is, I haven't input anything. It has
also occured even though an ongoing download of files
from the Internet is running.

Attempted solution: returned XP virtual memory management
settings to Windows default. Didn't work.

Can anyone help?
