start server error msg

I have had XP Pro for a day now. Everything went fine
during install. Next day I was installing my printer
(epson 785epx) and UPS shut down during install and puter
went dead. After restart (no USP) I deleted printer and
reinstalled. Started having error messages.

server data base locked
can't start kernal mode driver service
loading kernal DLL (EIO,dll) fails -Abort

I did a restore. Now everytime I try to install printer
it gives same error messages. Sooo I won't install
printer for a while. Restored to the error free time.

BUT now it is giving me the errors again. GURU'S PlEaSe
HElP Meee.

Are you installing an XP driver? The Epson support site
(http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/support/supDetail.jsp) is showing
driver 5.20 and if you want the Status Monitor after the printer is
installed. They suggest using Status Monitor 3 v1.OdES
