apparently as per my service provider there should be a 'systems' icon in my
control panel. I do not have one, therefore I require help please. anyone?

First make sure you have enabled "Classic View."

If you have and it is still not there:

Are you talking about System Properties.
Can you open it by typing the following in Start > Run
sysdm.cpl

Or right click my computer and select properties.
