I have run into this problem where XP halts on the Mup.sys
driver file while booting. I have not been able to repair
this condition with the CD, so I just reinstalled Windows
on a new partition. Works perfectly fine. Two
questions: Does anyone know how I can fix the Mup.sys
error? Or if that is not possible does anyone know of a
way I can just sort of migrate all the programs I have
installed under the previous version of XP to the new
version of XP? Causing everything to appear in the start
menu etc...? Thanks for all the help! It's much
appreciated!
