I have a program called Day-Timer Organizer 2000 that we
use in our small office network. The program has run well
on Win 95, Win 98, Win 2000, and does not see to want to
close on Win XP.
We have 5 computers, all running windows xp pro. On two
of them the program works great. On the other three it
doesn't. About a year ago I had a computer tech guy come
and tweek the two computers so that the program will work
correctly. He doesn't know what he did or how he did it.
But he changed something so that the program works in two
of the computers. The other three computers are new.
It kind of acts like a virus but it's not. It seems the
program is looking for an internet access like AOL in
order to work correctly. The program works fine, it just
hangs up when we close it.
I've tried messing with all the usual things I can find,
like changing the compatability but to no avail. I've
even loaded Norton Anti-Virus and that doesn't make a
difference.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated
