Backup

Can't create a backup (ASR) disk. Do not seem to have the
B/U option in System Tools.

Windows XP Home or Pro?

Windows XP Home does not have ASR at all.
NTBACKUP is not installed by default in Home:

If Windows XP Home is OEM, you may or may not have these files.
