Some symptoms - in Internet Explorer, the header and tool
bars come up, but the IE window is blank, and changing
addresses makes no difference; in Yahoo Messenger, I can
see a message as I type it, but when I send, it goes away -
and I can't see any message coming back to me; Windows
Restore tells me to reboot my computer and try again;
Norton Antivirus is disabled and it won't let me activate
it; Windows Explorer works. Is this a virus? Any idea
what might be going on?

John, if you can get online check for a Virus. Go to www.google.com and
type Virus Checker.
