I have changed the resolution before. Now I have some very expensive trial software that I need to use and I cant seem to change the display settings from 800X600 to the 1024x768

I go into my computer, display, settings, the slider is there and allows me to slide it to the 1024X768 level, when I click apply my screen goes blank, then it pops back to my computer and the display settings are still 800x600.

I did a trouble shoot on it and it says it is working properly. The drivers "claim" to be current.

I am using windows xp sp 2 and have nividia geforce4 ti 4200 as the adapter.

Does anyone have an idea for me. The software expires in 10 days and I would love to at least give it a try before I have to shell out a couple hundred bucks.

HELP!!!!!!

=============================
Might be worth a try to go to the nVidia
support site and search for an updated
driver.
