Every time I start Windows XP, I am notified that the hard
drive needs to be checked. I have 10 seconds to stop this
action. If I stop it, Windows starts. If I do not stop
it, Check disk runs. This doesn't take long but is very
frustrating. I do not have Internet service with this
computer, so I am unable to send Microsoft the "critical
error" info that pops up. I'm using a HP Pavilion.
Entire system run without a proble until about 2 weeks
before the 1-year warrenty expired. Any suggestions?
Thank you.
