Javascript error?

[Granpa]

I'm new at this, so I hope this isn't too stupid a
question. On some WWW sites, I can't get past the top of
the page. A message comes up saying that there is a
javascript error and tells me to type "javascript" in the
location bar. When I do that, ittakes me to a Java web
site but no I have no idea what to do when I get there.
Can somebody tell me what I should do? Thanks Granpa
