My taskbar open program buttons are missing. The
only way I can switch between programs is with alt-tab,
or task manager. Quicklaunch and Start are still there.
I regularly update various programs, and did not
notice whether this problem was associated with one or
another update. I have already tried starting in safe
mode, same problem, and started in safe mode and created
a new user and then logged in as that new user, still the
same problem. I am using XP pro, and it has been
regularly updated.
