Browsing on the internet has slowed

I am running Xp, IE, road runner using a cable modem. It
seems that pages are taking a lot longer to load than
before and overall response seems slower.

Is there somthing in Windows I can check to see if I have
a problem. I have installed all the latest MS
fixes/critial updates for XP.

Run a check for Virus or Trojans. Go to www.google.com and type:
Virus Checker. Also do a check for spyware.
Try Spybot.
