My computer would boot & run as long as I was using it.
But then if I let it set & didn't use it, it would freeze
up. Someone told me to "uninstall" XP Hot Fix Q317277.
I did, so far (keeping my fingers crossed)it's working.

Hope this helps. We'll all find out soon enough.
