View Full Version : Can't right click in Windows Explorer XP Pro

I recently became unable to right-click on anything in Windows
Explorer. I can right click items in the start menu and inside Mozilla
Firefox, but nothing on my desktop or other folders. The only time I
can right click inside a folder is if it is a folder that contains
pictures, in which case I can set the view to Filmstrip and right click
the preview of the image.

The things that I believe could have caused this are some spyware
(adware.popupper) or Internet Explorer 7. IE 7 is also prohibitting me
from right clicking inside of it.

Any help that would prevent a reinstall would be great.

Thanks in advance

Go to the following website and scroll down to Line 203, right side. Click the "Restore Right Click Properties" link to download the reg file. Double click the file to install the fix.
