When I reboot system I get error messages from a no
longer installed program trying to register software
(company is no longer in business). What do I have to do
with windows to get rid of this reminder. Thanks....John

John, go here and download this Utility. StartupCPL.
http://www.mlin.net/StartupCPL.shtml
Once installed it should lead you to the offending entry and just
uncheck.
