View Full Version : NO SOUND

I cant get sound when playing cd's, dvd's, cd-roms, no system sounds nothing,
i have gone through the whole of the sound troubleshoot and have had no luck
everything seems to be set up ok on my computer but i just can't hear
aything, help wanted ASAP plz :-)

So your sound card has the latest drivers from the hardware manufacturer
installed?
What sound card (name brand/model) do you have?

i think so but wouldnt say definitely, some-one else had set up everything
for me and sound was working fine last week but have no sound at all when
come on computer today!!

p.s im not a computer whizz so wouldnt even know what a sound card looked
like sorry, is probably why i can't help myself :-)

with use of another thread i have found out my sound device to be
'CreativeAudioPCI (ES1371,ES1273)(WDM)
and the manufacturer 'Creative Technology Ltd'

ok so i have now installed the newest driver for my sound card and restarted
my computer, and STILL NO sound oh plz hope some-one can help!!
