Faded printing

I bought a Dell in April with xp. The problem is I can't
read the printing on the web sites (even and especially
the help) because the printing is tiny and almost faded
away. Is this Dell or Microsoft? I talked to a Dell
technician but his advice did no good, not even sure he
understood me. Can anyone help or direct me somewhere?
