digitalpersona v2.0 installation error

After un-installing digitalpersona 1.0.1 fingerprint reader then rebooting
and attempting to install the new version 2.0 - I get the following error:

Installation cannot continue due to the following problem(s):
- incompatible digitalpersona product(s) are installed

installation will be terminated. Correct the problems and run the
installation again.


I checked add/remove programs, and the old verison is no longer listed. Any
ideas why the new version 2.0 won't install ?

I solved the problem by deleting the following registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\DigitalPersona

Don't know why the un-install didn't do that, but V2.0 is now installed.

I just downloaded 2.0 and installed right over 1.0.1 without any issues.
