A friend from Russia recently bought a laptop with an english version of
windows on it and replaced it with a russian version of windows. For some
reason, the activation wizard won't launch. I have tried through
accessories>system tools, as well as run> oobe/msoobe /a. The cursor becomes
an hour glass for 2 seconds, acting like it's going to open, but nothing
happens. I appreciate any help.
