View Full Version : Made a registry change that I should not have made

I've made many changes in the past, but this time I made a general
"permission" that screwed things up. I think I made the change at the very
top level, allowing (I think) access to all. I am the only user and running
XP Pro. I "was" the admin. After I made the change it now boots with a "new"
startup requiring me to hit the (my name) icon. Before it would just bootup.
I'm trying to install an atena to access my neighbors wireless router. Now I
can't install. I want to get back to the admin access. I looked at the
regestry "top" and the permission is grayed out.
