Disk Image to extral hard drive

I would like to make a disk image of my internal drive to an external hard
drive. I have Partition Magic 6.0 to do this.

If my internal drive fails, I would like to copy this image from my external
back to my new internal.

I'm and thinking I need some image copy software that boots from the CD.
Any recommendations.

I have the serial, but can't find a place to download the file from. Any
ideas?

I already use Acronis 10, but I went through the "exercise" of getting
the free version of Acronis 7, which is excellent, by the way, and I
too, got my serial number but saw no download link to the program. I
would give them a call. Unfortunately, non corporate users don't have
a toll free number to call. Check on this page for their number in
Burlington, Massachusetts:
