My system wakes up from Standby mode within 30 seconds of putting it
into Standby (START->Turn Off Computer -> Standby.

Is it possible to LOG the event that is waking-up the system?

Thank you,
Fred Jacobowitz

1.Click Start > Run > Type eventvwr
2.Save the logs if you want (By right clicking > Save ...)
3.Clear the events (By right clicking > Clear)
4. Put PC in Standby...
5.If it wakes, see what is in the event viewer (eventvwr).

Ayush:
Thank you for your advice. I did try that. An entry is not added to
the Event Logs. I want to know if there is a way to force an entry
into the Event Log when the system resumes from Standby.
