I would like a professional working for Microsoft to email
me verifying that using this product
http://www.abysstek.com/catalog/product_info.php?
products_id=782 is legal. I am trying to install Windows
XP Home OEM, using my OEM disc onto a computer I am
building, and will sell the computer. Thank you so
much. - Dave

I don't work for Microsoft, but I'm a system builder, and they're pretty
clear that in order for it to be legit, small system builders have to supply
the CD as well.
Bigger oems can do restore CDs, partitions on the hard drive, whatever, but
that's not true for the small builders, mom & pop shops, etc.
Needless to say, if you're just buying the COA you have no CD to give the
customer, and a burned copy isn't sufficient as far as what MS requires.

You are not contacting Microsoft. This is a public newsgroup.
