When I try to Run ipconfig /all on my Windows XP Home computer, it doesn't
work. The knowledge base is closed or not working. How do I make this program
work?
Thank you.

Please help us to help you. What does " it doesn't work" mean? What happens
when you try? If you get an error message, please quote it verbatim.

What do you mean it does not work?
Be sure to open a command prompt window *first* and then run ipconfig.
Otherwise the screen readout will immediately disappear when it completes
command.

Here is a brief description in following article about how to use IPCONFIG.
But be sure to run Command Prompt before using IPCONFIG. Click Start - Run -
type CMD.
http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/windows/xp/all/proddocs/en-us/ipconfig.mspx
Hope this help, let us know!

Try typing that command into a command prompt.
Start | Run | Type: cmd | Click OK |
When the command prompt opens, type: ipconfig /all and hit your Enter
key.
ipconfig /all will not work from the Run command (Start | Run) it will just
flash a command prompt faster than you can see it.
