After connecting my (X1300 Ati) to my 42" Plasma Sylvania 6842PE I'm unable
to clone my desktop. I get no signal from the pc at all. I've updated the
video drivers and still no signal. I've also tried placing the checkmark
'Extend my windows desktop onto this monitor' from within the windows desktop
properties, still no video signal on my big screen.

It will not detect within the 'Catalyst Control Center' either. Tried using
the 'force' feature with no luck either.

The S-Video is an analog signal, so you will have to enable Video Overlay on
that output (if your video card supports it). With a plasma display, the
results will be less than optimal anyway...plasma is the worst choice for
displaying a computer signal.
