Email Sound

I have a 8600 Dell and about three weeks ago I lost the
sound when I received an Email the sound works on
everything else but when I get an Email.And I have a
check mark in the tools menu that says play sound when
receiving email.(help)

Try going to START/CONTROL PANEL/SOUNDS AND AUDIO DEVICES/SOUNDS and look
for NEW MAIL NOTIFICATION and see if there's something there or missing.
