I've formatted the hard drive and installed XP media center on my
machine(Dell 4600).Now,when the computer boots it asks me if I want to load
XP Media Center or XP home edition. Can I set it up to skip this process and
load the XP media Center
all the time? Thanks for any help.

Something is wrong with at least one of those two sentences. If you had
formatted the drive, any mention of the previous operating system, whatever
it was, would be gone.

Please describe excatly what you did, in as much detail as possible.

Hello,I had the computer boot to the d/drive with the windows CD in it.I
followed the on screen prompts. The drive had 3 previous partions,I deleted
them all.The drive was formatted.Continued following the on screen
instructions. The computer seems to be working fine. This is a Dell 4600 desk
top.I used a OEM windows XP media CD which was from a Dell laptop(6400) which
recently just purchased.
Thanks again for any help.
