I have managed to put the start toolbar at the right hand side of my page
rather than at the bottom. I have no idea how I did it or how to fix it.
Any ideas?

Unlock the Taskbar by right-clicking the taskbar, and then deselecting Lock
the Taskbar. Click an empty area on the taskbar, and then drag the taskbar
to the bottom. Lock the Taskbar now.

Right click the taskbar first and ensure it is not locked.
Grab it by an unused space and drag it to the bottom.
