Is there a way to automatically log on to the network after a workstation
reboot? All 7 machines on network are running Windows XP pro including the
server. Each time a workstation is rebooted, after logging back onto that
machine, a user name and password is required to log back onto the network.
Is this a set security step with XP or are there ways around it? Thank you!

Since you apparently don't have a domain and aren't concerned about
security, just set the workstations to go automatically to the Desktop.

Configure Windows to Automatically Login (MVP Ramesh) -
http://windowsxp.mvps.org/Autologon.htm

If that isn't what you mean, then please define "log on to the network".
