How can I copy movie onto my PC? And how do I detect if I have a video
capture on my system?

90 % of pcs dont,it would be video in or RCA jacks-in.To copy,get a tv
capture card ati makes one for 50.00 or so,or did..Capture from youre vcr
RCA out jacks to the RCA-in jacks on the card,or use adapters via radio shack
(s-video).Heres the trick,install only the cards drivers,no software,download
WM encoder + its utilities from microsoft,the WMCAP works well with encoder.
