Would the "Administrator" not be able to do this for you.
It sound like you do not have the privilages\permissions
to do this. Are you the "Admin...." of your PC?, Login as
the "Admin...." if you are and try again.

Actually the network administrator is stumped also. The IT department is
barely starting to convert to XP as the main OS, and they are learning too.
And yes I do have Local Admin rights to the computer.
Here's what I gathered. To Offline synch a network folder, first one has to
make sure this feature is on. Once on, the user goes to the network
directory that he wants to synch, right click and click make offline, this
puts a check next to it. To undo this, and not make that offline, you
reverse the process by going to that network directory, right click and
click make offline which clears the check mark.
The name has changed so you're unable to uncheck what was done. It is
actually still there, but XP doesn't see it ,so XP thinks that folder is
offline. There has to be away to remove that without going to it. Didn't
MS think about that scenario?
I can not uncheck make offline because this
is no longer there: Construction on DFGH (K)
Supplies
Personnel
History
Because now it's this: VPConstr on DFGH (K)
Supplies
Personnel
History

Right click on "My Computer", select "Manage"
Expand "Shared Folders">"Shares", is it there? Right
click, select "Properties". You might\can change the
name? Also "Caching"

Have to say, no. Going to My Computer | Manage | Shared folders, it was not
listed.
