connect laptop to tv

I'm trying to use the s-video on the back of laptop. Use to work, now after
service pack 2 , cant get it to work.

Make sure you're using graphics drivers from the notebook manufacturer's
website.

Connect S-Video cable. Use the utility from the OEM to set the TV as
primary; turn TV on. Reboot the computer.

Since the S-Video is an analog output, you may have to enable video overlay
on your video card.
