After upgrading from Windows ME to Windows XP there is no
sound from the computer? Is this due to the upgrade and
what can be done about it?
Thanks for any suggestions, Phyllis

Hi Phyllis,
Go to Control Panel > Sounds. Make sure the Mute box is unchecked. While
there click on Advanced and check the Mute boxes there.

Check the website of your PC manufacturer for the correct and updated audio
drivers for XP.

Richard, thanks for the advice. I already tried that and
there were a few things muted. Those have been changed but
there still is no sound.
