In trying to send home video via email I guess one needs to compress the
file first. Compressing mpg video files from a digital video camera, what
is the best method, procedure, programme to do this. I am a newbee to this
method, are there any good websites I can get simple info from?
TIA

Compressing causes loss of resolution.
I think the best bet is to upload to a site
like one if the following and your recipient
will receive a link to download from:
"YouSendIt"
http://www.yousendit.com/
"SendSpace"
http://www.sendspace.com/
"Dropload"
