ok so about 5 months ago i re-formated my pc. I have a digital camera which i
only found about a week ago, i know for a fact that before i re-formated my
pc it could detect the camera but now it doesn't bring up any options for
importing photo's and i've checked the camera and settings and i think its
something to do with the driver not being "digitaly signed" is it possible i
got rid of this when i re-formatted the pc ?

only without this camera i can't create movies on windows movie maker XD

WMM won't detect a digital camera via USB, and/or/if Quicktime format.

You reformatted, did you reinstall the software/drivers for your
USB digital stills camera?

"Digitally signed" means nothing if it worked previously.
It just means it was proven to fucnction with that specific cam
and XP etc, but it worked previously, so that ain't the problem.

i didn't reinstall anything after the formating but i didn't install
anything before the formating either. so im not sure what the problem can
be...
