My dvd will not play my movies now. When i try to use it it always comes up
with an error saying check my decoder to make sure it is updated and
supported by my pc. I have not changed anything and it was working last time
we used this pc. Can anyone help me threw the steps to get this matter
fixed? The way i understand this is it is a soft ware problum.

Reinstall your DVD decoding software.... usually it's PowerDVD, WinDVD or
nVidia PureVideo.
