I have posted before about this type of problem. I have 10 mpg files that I
encoded using TMPGnc 4.0 xpress.
The files are encoded in the DVD compliant Mpg 2 format. The files play ok
in win media player, but when I do a compile with DVD lab studio,
the finished product stops and starts during playback, and the video is not
synced with the audio.
I have defraged prior to compile. and shut down norton and other programs.
I have tried a project before this where all the movies in the compile
played ok except one.
In the first project the compile played ok in other computers and on the tv
player but not on my machine.
On this current project the finished project burned to dvd will not play
right on any computer, but it will play ok on the tv player.
what does all of this mean?
points of interest. in dvd lab in the assets window 2 of the files show
blank in the column for "average bit rate".
for all the other files the average bit rate has some kind of number. also:
in the movie window for 2 of the files on the timeline in one
of the frames, there is a time referance that says 00:00:00 and is in red.
but thats not where the beginning of the movie is.
My stuff: alienware notebook area 51 win xp SP 2 3 gigs ram 2.9 gz 2 hard
drives. nvidia geforce 6000 video card. dvd lab studio and TMPGnc 4.0 xpress
what the hell?
