i have a pc and a laptop. when i use the pc all the
following stuff works ok. On the lap top i cant sign into
msn messenger. when i try it says"unable to sign into net
messenger service, possibly because of a problem with the
service or with your internet connection. please make
sure that you are connected to the internet."
I also play an online game, it is fine on the pc but on
the laptop when i try to log in it says "the login
attempt has failed. the wicket server may be unavailable
at the present time"
I am able to use the internet ok, but when i go into more
secure sights it sys " this page can not be displayed
The page you are looking for is currently unavailable.
The Web site might be experiencing technical
difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser
settings."
I guess its just a setting of some type but i cant work
it out...
I'd really appeciate some help here

thankyou in advance
Shakila.

Are you using a network to connect the 2 computers to the internet or is
there a modem or equivalant device in each computer.

If you are using a network then would you be able to describe what you have
done so far in setting up the network and shared internet.

Ahh now, i did try to set up a network between the two
conputers using the wizzard to do this. Unfortunatly i
couldn't complete the process as ican't find the windows
xp disc. And it is after this failed attempt that the
problems started.
thankyou for replying.
