DVD playing problem

Hi,
My DVD software is InterVideo WinDVD 5, when I put a DVD in my CD-Rom it
starts up, but STOP appears in the screen and nothing happens, the auto play
is working ok and I have checked the set up etc. Can anyone please help?

What happens when you click on the > (Play) icon in WinDVD?
