When I click "restart" (from "turn off computer") the PC shutsdown. It used
to restart. What wrong?

Have you tried a system restore to a time right before the problem stated?
What changes were made to the system between the time it worked ok, and when
the problem first manifested itself? What software/hardware changes were
made? Any driver updates through windows update or other means?
Here is one possibility: http://www.winguides.com/registry/display.php/251/
From start | run, type in regedit, click ok. Navigate to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
Is there a Value name of PowerdownAfterShutdown and if so what is it set to,
0 or 1? If 1 change it to 0.
Google groups search for this problem:
