how do you restore your computer to a point before? My computer has been
having problems and I would like to restore it from the past

Start - Programs - Accessories - System tools - System restore, and follow
it through

You may go to programms>accesories>system tools>system restore and choose
restore my computer to an earlier time then click on restore point anf follow
the steps...

Understand that system restore had limitations. It is good for going back a
maximum of 1-2 weeks. Data is not included in system restore. See Bert
Kinney's System Restore page for info on it.

Run System Restore.
If you can boot to safe mode, you can run system restore from there. (System
Restore should be under your Start Menu in "Accessories/System Tools" - or
however you have arranged your start menu).
