Nero and WMP are crashing

I posted earlier that WMP 9 was crashing when I tried to copy a CD.
I tried using Nero to burn a CD from mp3 files and crashed before the write
phase was finished...never got to a burn.

Any theories?
I'd appreciate it.

Slow down the burn speed. Faster is not always better.
