Transferring DVD's to Portable Multi Media Players

I am able to play a pre-recorded DVD on Windows Media Player but cannot SYNC
this to a portable media player. The DVD appears in the Library but when I
go to SYNC it is no longer there.
I am able to SYNC music stored on Windows Media Player without any problems.

Does anyone have any ideas to help..

Use a third party application like DVD2PocketPC or PocketDVD Studio.....
