Hello,
I have the above posted Video Card. My question is why does windows say i
only have 512mb of video ram when i really have 1gb? I'm thinking windows
just isnt setup for video cards that have over 512mb, much like when hard
drives first came out that had a gig of HD space and windows back then simply
wasn't setup for it type thing. Am i correct, and if not do you know how to
fix this issue so that windows shows the true amount of video memory?

=======================
I have no hands on experience with
the GeForce 7950 GX2 but the following
chart shows: 2 x 512 MB (512 MB available).

Also have a look at the paragraph
near the bottom of this page that begins
with "Nvidia's new solution"

What does DirectX report?
(Start, Run, [type] dxdiag [enter])
Since it's a dual GPU card, I'm thinking that what it's really telling you
is that you have 512mb x 2 which of course would be the 1gb total.
You do have one of the compatible motherboards, don't you?
